In case you didn't hear - "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is coming to Crossroads!!! So many of you couldn't go to retreat - so we're bringing a retreat to us!!! No hotel bill, no food expense, sleep in your own bed, and minimal gas expense!!!
How could it be better??? I'm glad you asked!! Everything is going to be lighthearted and inspirational! They'll be skits, a pajama fashion show, a nontalent show, ..... and plenty to laugh about. We're also going to have a time of prayer and an inspirational speaker who will have you laughing, crying, and feeling better than you've felt in a long time!!!
So...... start shopping for those pajamas. Join up with a group to do a skit. Tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, women from other churches - let's get them all rounded up and joining in on the fun. Wear your favorite casual clothing and come on (yes, anything goes as long as you're comfortable!!!).
As I announced this morning, we are doing a fundraiser to underwrite the expense. If you did not get a pamphlet, please come see me. It is RADA Cutlery. They have cutlery, utensils, candles, cookbooks, sauces, dips, cookware, etc. Everything in there is something we would use - not junk and trinkets. It is very reasonably priced. As I told the ladies this morning, I have one of their knives that is over 25 years old and as good as the day I bought it. (I would have 3 of them - but Pastor got off with 2 of them. You know how that goes, I'm sure!!!)
